Selecting the appropriate temporary facilities is important for reducing cost and improving productivity safety of craft professionals in construction projects. However, manual planning process scaffolding systems typically prone to inefficiencies. This paper aims develop a knowledge-based framework decision support system industry. An integrated two-phase was established, including technical evaluation module module. First, identifies feasible alternatives from database through rule-based algorithm. Second, designed assess alternative performance. The effectively generated ranking alternatives, top three influential factors were identified, site accessibility, protection workers health risk. Thus, an application study industrial steel project proffered validate effectiveness framework. proposed may help decision-making regarding implementation facility industry practices. It has wider applicability because it simultaneously considers conditions, productivity, safety, financial benefits, implemented computerized path. contributes by developing facilities. Additionally, practical contribution this research provision optimized method that could be utilized as guide when implementing system.
